In this personal project I placed forgotten clothes found in my family's attic into the spotlight in order to create an interplay of past and present in this photo series. These pieces of clothing represent the past getting transported back into the here and now. At the same time however, some of the photos show modern technology, which are clashing with the age of the clothing and thus creating a paradox. Photographed in my grandmother's flat the setting further underlines the desired character with outdated covers and pieces of furniture.
All in all, the boundaries between modernity and tradition, between past and present, between reality and memory are blurring.
The final product is a zine, in which the photos are accompanied by short text from various sources explaining the cognitive bias
